Oppenheimer

There is both too much and yet not enough to say about Christopher Nolan’s biopic about the infamous man behind the USA’s development of the first nuclear bomb.

Too much in the fact that there are so many amazing performances in this movie that it could fill a novel in its own, that the story is so well told as to keep you interested for the full 3 hour run time, and the complexity of Oppenheimer’s life that I’m sure there have been entire collage classes based on just that.

Not enough because honestly you should just go see this movie. Every actor gives this movie there all and not the least Cillian Murphy gives a carrier defining performance.

I have only a few small critiques, one of which is at one point in the movie you do start to feel the 3 hour length of the movie and talking to others it seems to be the same point for most but it eventually goes away and you are sucked right back into it. Another is the score, I……… don’t remember it. My friend who I went with said he liked it but I couldn’t remember anything about it. That being said it did what it was supposed to I guess. Bad and great scores have a similarity in that they are both noticeable. so me not noticing it is not really a downside I guess.

All I have left to say is go watch it because this is the movie we deserve as an audience, this is why you go to a movie theater, this is the experience we crave.
